I want to be your friend. And as corny as that sounds, it's so very true. I don't just want to be a vendor that you've spoken with only over a strand of emails. I want to get to know you..not in a "well, that's my job" kind of way. But in a genuine, real way. When it comes down to it, the relational aspect of photography is my absolute favorite part. I value people so much, because they each hold such unique stories. More than anything, I want to get to know you for you. All the goofy facts, favorite meals, memories, traditions...the list goes on. And trust me, I'm not doing this because I have to, but because I want to.
I want to travel with you to a location that holds a special place in your heart, guide you in natural, movement-filled posing, crack a ton of jokes (trust me, there will be jokes, and I'll probably break out a few dance moves too), and of course, allow you the freedom to be yourselves. I'll capture every single in-between moment. The loud moments and the quiet moments. The moment when a tear dribbles down your cheek as you see your bride for the first time. The moment when your uncle breaks out his notorious moves on the dance floor. The moment when your honey whispers your favorite inside joke in your ear. And the moment when you, and those you love, are simply being who you were created to be. That's what I'm all about.

Why is there an engagement session included with each package? Can we swap it for something else?
This is such a crazy, amazing season of life. One that you will be able to look back on this season and remember all the newly-engaged butterflies you felt. Not to mention, I love getting to know my couples in person before the wedding. Not only will we capture all the love, but we will bust a gut together, have a fun time, and get to know one another.
I do not swap out engagements, as they are complimentary with each package! I love to get my couples in front of my camera together at least once before their wedding. Not only does this allow us to get to know each other, but it eases any nerves! By the time we get to the wedding day, we will be familiar with working together!
Do your packages include travel and lodging fees?
My base packages (as listed above) do not include travel or lodging fees.
Travel fees and lodging are unique to location. Inquire to find out more.
Do you bring a second shooter to every wedding?
I do not! This depends on two things:
1. Your guest count
2. If you wedding requires documentation of simultaneous events happening at different locations, such as if the groomsmen are getting ready at an entirely separate location than the bridesmaids.
After we chat together, we decide if a second-shooter is necessary for your wedding!
And no worries, my friends! I always bring extra back-up equipment if I am shooting solo! I always pack as if two shooters are at your wedding!
We are just a tad awkward when it comes to being in front of the camera. What if we have never done something like this before?
I am a firm believer that everyone is photogenic, because at the end of the day, I'm not striving to make you look perfect. I'm striving to capture exactly who you are. I'm not looking to capture perfect, I'm looking to capture the real, the raw, and the beauty of who you were created to be. It's normal to feel a little bit nervous before stepping in front of the camera. But let me assure you of this: my goal is to make you feel comfortable. I'll not only be your hype man (get ready for me screaming YASS about every minute), but I will also guide you in natural posing that allows you to simply be yourself. Nothing will ever feel stiff or forced.
